THE holy month of Ramadan will never be complete without iftar or simply known as buka puasa.

Halaman Haji Saad at Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur offers the finest buffet spreads in town.

The gourmet team will again be dishing out notable and perennial favourites at the Pacific Ballroom as well as the Zende Restaurant, for its increasing number of patrons seeking corporate entertainment venues and family dining.

Halaman Haji Saad offers a variety of tasty traditional spread featuring different dishes every day.

Chef Haji Saad and his team will ensure that authenticity is kept to every item that is dished out and served during the holy month.

The chef’s recommendation is to start light with the salads and traditional fare such as Sambal Belacan, Cencalok, Budu, Tempoyak Cili, Sambal Nanas, Sambal Mangga and Sambal Gesek. For those who are concerned with nutrition and diet, choices of Kerabu and Ulam-Ulam Kampung such as Kacang Botol, Pegaga, Ulam Raja, Daun Kadok and Paku Rawan are aplenty.

Traditional cuisines like Kambing Golek, Bubur Lambuk, Serunding Daging Ayam, Briyani Gam, Nasi Kandar, and Sup Gearbox are some of the Malay “must tries” at the hotel.

Besides that, be tempted by the colourful and delicious desserts like Bubur Cha Cha, Pengat Ubi, Bubur Kacang Hijau with Durian, Pulut Hitam, Pengat Pisang, Bubur Kacang Merah, and Bubur Jagung. In addition, there will be a Pastries Corner and an abundance of local seasonal fruits including jackfruit, rambutan, red guava, langsat, salak, duku and lots more.

Over at the drinks station, guests can quench their thirst with a wide range of refreshing beverages such as soy bean, coconut drink, Lai Chee Kang, teh tarik, Nescafe Tarik, Sirap Selasih, lychee and kiwi drinks as well as air kurma.

Meanwhile, at the Pacific Ballroom, the buffet will be available between May 27 and June 22. It is priced at RM98 nett for adults and RM49 nett (children)

Focusing on the stall concept, hawker stalls and food stalls will be set-up in the spacious Pacific Ballroom. Walk around the ballroom and pick from specialty dishes like Sup Ekor Mamak, Sup Ayam, Daging Salai Masak Lemak Cili Padi with Pisang Muda, Udang Goreng Kunyit, Ikan Siakap Kukus Kuah Tauchu, and Ayam Lemak Rebung Santan Nipah Muda among others.

At the Zende Restaurant, the buffet will be available from May 29 to June 24.

It is priced at RM138 nett for adult and RM69 nett (children).

Guests can look forward to specialties like Gulai Daging Campur Umbut Kelapa, Lemang, Satay Ayam and Daging, Varities of Dim Sum, Sup Gear Box, Mee Rebus, Laksa Johor, Wantan, Mee Udang, Roti Jala, Murtabak Ayam, Rojak Singapore, Pasembor, Shawarma, Babaganoush, Hummus, Chicken Mandy Tandoori Style, Nasi Kandar, Kari Kepala Ikan, Kambing Panggang, and Ayam Golek Percik among others.

Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur also provides a surau for visitors to perform their prayers.

Four guest rooms located on the sixth floor have been assigned as Surau throughout the Ramadan month. For those intending to perform Terawih prayers they can do so at one of the hotel’s function rooms.

The hotel also accepts group or corporate bookings and private rooms are available for gatherings or corporate entertainment.
